I loved this! I especially loved the subtle smear frame when he's going to scream, great stuff overall! Can't wait to see what else you do!

Thank you so much!! I can’t wait to see what you do in the future too
thanks i hate it
(edit: I'm joking of course, made me laugh really hard)
This is probably some of my favorite animation on this site. It tells a story that some movies take an hour to do, with hit or miss results, yet somehow you were able to make a heartbreaking story in about 35 seconds. The art style is expressive and simple, the music is nice but sad, it’s all around lovely. Wonderful work as always.
YES.
Great job as always dude! Even in short videos like these, you always manage to give 100%. I'm sorry you're feeling down and I hope shit gets better for ya. Also congrats on the Daily feature! You deserve it
Dude. This looks good. No, this looks REALLY good. No, this looks REALLY DAMN GOOD. I absolutely love the animation, the movement is so lifelike!! And you absolutely nailed the expressions, they feel so right in this colorful and weird world (and I mean that in the best way)! It almost looks like you did it all on ones, and it meshes so well somehow. I also love the story and feel of the whole thing, it feels like a modern day Ren and Stimpy (which I am dying for). The voice acting is great, the gags are great, everything is just great!! And the fact that you did the animation all by yourself freaking astounds me! Great job all around, amazing work.
I do have some gripes however, but luckily they are minor, so take this as constructive criticism. A nitpick I have is the backgrounds... sorta. When the background is a splatter screen or it goes heavy on the shading, it's done really well, and make it a joy to look at. My problem is that scenes like the opening, where Alex is watching TV on the couch, and the background is a bunch of posters on the wall. My problem with that one in particular is that it sorta crams in a bunch of unnecessary things, and it feels really crowded. You probably could of left some of the things in there, like the window and the calendar, and maybe one or two posters on the wall.
Also sometimes there are black lines where there shouldn't be, like the opening shot with the house. Again, it's a minor nitpick, but still.
Another problem I have is the character design for Zach. I don't know, something about Zach's design rubs me the wrong way... I think it might be the color or how he isn't clothed like Alex. Maybe it's just me.
I also noticed the lip sync is a bit off sometimes, I don't know whether that's the result of your animation problem, but it can be distracting at times, mostly because the characters bounce around synced with their talking. But again, just a nitpick.
And really, that's all there is for criticism, nitpicks. Because really, it doesn't take away from what is a fun and engaging viewing experience. I can say with confidence that you nailed the mood perfectly, with the animation, angles, expressions, backgrounds, and really took advantage of the animation medium perfectly. You did great, and I can't wait to see what comes out of this! You are really talented, keep up the great work!
(DM me if you'd like advice on backgrounds and stuff. I'm not the best animator, but I can make a good background.)
Somehow you made the void sound like a punishment a parent would give to their kid, and I'm all for it
I don’t know whether to like this or like this
